The correct layout for RHD bulhkead pipes and wiring is shown in this photograph. The brake and clutch master cylinder on this car has a flat top. Originally the MGA had a taller cast alloy top which allowed more fluid to be added to the reservoir. The silver part to the left of the photograph is the starter switch which is operated by cable from a pull knob on the dashboard. The switch did the job that starter solonoids do today.
