This MGA has been fitted with an electric cooling fan in addition to the original cooling fan. Normally the original fan can be removed when a n electric one is fitted. There is not a lot of air extraction in the MGA engine bay, so hot air recirculation can be a problem. There should be a foam pad attached to the underside of the bonnet which prevents re-circulation over the radiator.
